Properties of Obsidian Stone 

Obsidian is a volcanic glass, is known in Chinese medicine and traditional healing practices for its grounding and detoxifying properties. Often called the “protector stone,” obsidian is believed to absorb negative ions and support the flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body.

This naturally formed volcanic glass retains warmth, making it an excellent choice for massage and Gua Sha treatments aimed at easing muscle tension and improving circulation.  Its smooth surface glides effortlessly over the skin, helping to reduce puffiness, release tightness in the face and body, and support lymphatic drainage.
